I was very pleased with the Augusta Louise that I received. The bush appears to be healthy, sturdy, and mature. No cane breakage and soil still moist around root system. I have it potted and the plant is leafing out and thriving.

I was super worried about this rose shrub, post office send it across the US instead of just mailing it from Oregon to Washington state. Poor thing had a 10 day journey. When I opened the box, I wasn’t sure what I was gonna find. The shrub was surprisingly in good condition, it only had a couple yellow leaves on it and is doing fine outside in the garden.

AUStango ('Summer Song') arrived in great condition. Soaked it, potted it up. It's now breaking out into all kinds of growth.
I'm delighted to try a rose David Austin refused to officially distribute in the U.S. I hear it's a difficult variety, but I also love 'Sterling Silver', and contrary to what the Brits think, North America does not have "a" (as in singular) climate.

Mine arrived with one really big cane and one green shoot that was broken and the whole thing died in less than a week. The other roses I ordered are doing great so I think it was a fluke. I contacted High Gardens roses and they took care of me and refunded it. I will order again. I can’t wait to have this variety in my garden.

It is tiny, it looked very unhealthy upon arrival and had a very weak stalk. I was so sad, i spent a lot of money on this and hoped it would be leather than 7 inches tall, with no chance of blooming in the next year or more. I purchased a rose from home depot for 1/4 of the price that had a thicker stalk and already produced roses...😒

We’re sorry to hear about your experience and understand your frustration with the size and initial condition of the plant.
Please note that we do offer a warranty in the event that a rose does not survive. Also, our own-root roses are different from grafted roses, such as those commonly sold at big box stores like Home Depot. Grafted roses are grown on an established rootstock, which is why they often appear larger and more mature at the time of purchase. In contrast, own-root roses may arrive smaller, as they are focused on developing their own root system, but they are designed for long-term strength and consistency.
If your rose does not survive, please reach out to us with photos so we can assist you under our warranty.

The rose was a good size, as expected for the M/L selection. Unfortunately, the roots arrived very dry, due to shipping delays by UPS. I already contacted the vendor, provided photos, and received a timely response. For now, I’m waiting to see whether the rose improves. If not, I will reach out again to request a replacement.

Item arrived healthy and roots were still damp. Packaging was a bit odd but apparently it worked. Was a little smaller than expected for being M/L but I was able to plant it right away and so far it doesn't seem to be suffering from transplant shock.
