When the rose arrived, it was much smaller than I had expected. I was also surprised that it wasn’t shipped in a box—it was simply wrapped in USPS cardboard and placed inside a mailing bag, which offered very little protection.
After opening the package, the rose did not appear to be in very good condition.
What concerns me most is the timing of the shipment. I don’t understand why a young rose was shipped to a Zone 7 area in the middle of July, during the hottest part of summer. The extreme heat greatly reduces the plant’s chances of establishing successfully, and I was worried about its survival from the moment it arrived.
The two AUShunter roses that I ordered were delivered two weeks ago and were in wonderful condition, well branched and well rooted. They are potted now and doing very well. This is my favorite Austin rose; the color is unlike any other pink rose I’ve ever seen. I am delighted with their condition and very pleased that they are on their roots.

Unfortunately this is my second Coffee Break - the first one died and Highgarden kindly replaced it. This second one died within 2 days of receipt (canes blackened quickly). Unfortunately all roses I received experienced some damage in transit; all are fine except this one. I took off one star b/c it died a second time but I will continue to order from Highgarden.

Although I was quoted that the soonest I could get this rose is September, to my delight it was delivered in July. It arrived with a bud already about to bloom! I potted the plant and I am so so happy with it - healthy and the bloom is gorgeous.

Planted them in a pot to get started because they were shipped in July and it’s extremely hot where I’m at. Not a great time to ship them anyway, they’re dying even either al the card I’m giving them.

FedEx did not deliver my rose on the estimated delivery date and I was out of town when it finally arrived. I was so worried I was going to lose the rose after it sat outside on the porch. HOWEVER, thanks to the exceptional packaging of the root system, my rose thrived within a week of planting it in a containter. I can't wait to see what my mystery rose blooms into!

I received Austew looking great despite the fact it’s been a roasting summer. No wilting, discoloration, good size. I'm so excited to have this rose shrub. I waited forever for it to become available again so that I could purchase it. The rose shrub is healthy and green despite being sent to the wrong city. Thats the second time that's happened to me however both times the roses were fine.
