Crown Princess Margareta!

I’ve been growing Crown Princess M. For quite sometime now - it’s such a beautiful and healthy climbing rose which generously grows many long and flexible stems making it easy to train as desired. The blooms are about 3 1/2 inches to 4inches in size when in bloom and are a beautiful orange/apricot shade of color. It has a strong fruity fragrance and many petals when open, the color being deeper orange in its center and paler apricot/cream on the outside edges. I do find the weather to affect the color being deeper shades in cooler seasons and paler in hotter weather. In addition it’s also highly resistant to common rose diseases making it less challenging to grow - I’m not certain but I do believe David Austin is discontinuing this rose unfortunately, so if you want it you should grab it while you can! Thanks for continuing to provide this one High Garden I’m grateful for your great selection

• USPS Ground Advantage (3-5 business days)
• USPS Priority Mail (2-3 business days)
• UPS 3 Day Select (3 business days)

Please note that actual delivery times may vary. While we always aim to ship promptly, we cannot guarantee exact delivery dates due to occasional USPS delays or unforeseen changes in plant readiness. You will receive a healthy rose bush. The roots will be protected by plastic wrap.

We will defoliate and prune the stems prior to shipping. As a result, your rose bush will not come with leaves or flower buds. It will form new shoots and buds once planted in soil.

In winter months, we may elect to ship your rose with little or no soil as they are dormant.

What is the difference between S, M, and L?

We offer multiple sizes of rose bushes:

S: Your rose is 4-6 months old, grown in 4" pots.

M: Your rose is 1 year old, grown in 6" pots.

L: Your rose is 1.5-2 years old, grown in 8"-10" pots.

Individual sizes may vary depending on the variety of the rose.

What are the differences between florist and garden roses?

Florist roses are typically bred for cut-flower use — they have long, straight stems, large symmetrical blooms, and a longer vase life, making them ideal for bouquets and arrangements. Garden roses, on the other hand, are grown for planting outdoors — they offer a wider variety of shapes, colors, and fragrances, often with more petals and a softer, more natural look, but they usually have shorter stems and a shorter vase life compared to florist roses.
