Lovely compact lavender/purple rose

This is a highly sought after popular Japanese shrub rose, not always easy to find bought I’m so glad I was able to find one this year! The rose is beautiful being small to medium in size, the blooms are about 3inches when open, they are a lovely color of purple in its center and cool lavender on its outer petals - creating a ring around the central bloom. It does have a moderate to sometimes strong fragrance which is delightful. The rose is also quite disease resistant and I’ve had little to no issues with it in that sense. My only complaint is that despite how healthy it is it still lacks vigor, it is slow growing and doesn’t establish very quickly, this rose is also quite smaller than the average garden bush or shrub rose being only about 2 1/2 feet tall and 2 feet wide making it a great candidate for container gardening. I would recommend it just bear in mind it will take sometime to get established if you have the patience for it it’s definitely worth it!

Hi James,

Thank you for your kind words and recommendation for our roses. We are thrilled to hear that you were able to find this highly sought after rose and that it has been a beautiful addition to your garden with its compact size and lovely lavender and purple blooms.

We are glad to know that you have had minimal issues with disease and have enjoyed the delightful fragrance of this rose. We agree that some roses are slow growing and doesn’t establish very quickly, but we are confident that with patience, it will establish itself and continue to bring you joy.

Happy with my first purchase

This was my first purchase from Highgarden. Seeing how she is thriving now shooting up new leaves and buds, it had been very well cared for. Team was extremely patient and diligent about scheduling the right delivery date (as I wanted to hold until temp came down). Their communication was excellent.
