    We offer multiple sizes of rose bushes:

    S: Your rose is 6 months old and grown in 4"/ 1-quart pots.

    M: Your rose is 1 year old and grown in 6"/ 1-gallon pots.

    L: Your rose is 2-3 years old and grown in 8"-10"/ 2-3 gallon pots.

    Individual sizes may vary depending on the variety of the rose.

    Occasionally we may send you a size bigger than the one you purchased, but not vice versa.

    How your rose arrives

    You will receive a healthy rose bush. The roots will be protected by plastic wrap.

    We will defoliate and prune the stems prior to shipping. As a result, your rose bush will not come with leaves or flower buds.

    In winter months, we may elect to ship your rose with little or no soil as they are dormant.

    Your rose will form new shoots and buds once planted in soil.

    Shipping

    All roses are shipped from our licensed nursery in Portland, Oregon.

    Standard shipping is free for orders $80+, or $5 otherwise.

    In-stock items are shipped in 5 business days. 

    Out-of-stock items may be available as a pre-order with an additional 6-10 week wait time. 

    Kindly note that in-stock and pre-order items in the same order will be shipped together. Splitting orders may incur additional shipping fees.

    Transit time:

    Standard: 3-5 business days

    Priority: 2-3 business days

    Delay Shipment:

    If your weather is not suitable for planting, you may choose to delay shipment for up to 6 months at no additional cost. Please leave a note on the bottom of the shopping cart before checkout to indicate your preferred ship month.

    Occasionally, we may delay shipment due to extreme weather conditions.

    Guarantee

    We take great care to ensure that each rose bush arrives to your garden at its peak vitality.

    If your rose arrived severely damaged or in non-viable condition, please provide a photo of the box and plant within 72 hours of delivery. We will ship a replacement to you free of charge

    Kindly note that replacements or refunds are not possible if your rose fails to grow due to extreme weather conditions or improper planting techniques.

    Where do you ship to?

    We ship to all 50 states within the US from our licensed nursery in Portland, Oregon.

    Due to restrictions on plant export, we do not ship outside of the US at this time.

    How much does shipping cost?

    We offer free standard USPS Ground Advantage shipping for orders over $80.

    For orders less than $80, a flat fee of $5 will be applied.

    How soon will I receive my order?

    In-stock items are shipped in 5 business days. 

    Out-of-stock items may be available as a pre-order with an additional 6-10 week wait time. 

    Kindly note that in-stock and pre-order items in the same order will be shipped together. Splitting orders may incur additional shipping fees.

    Are your roses own-root or grafted?

    Over 95% of our roses are own-root, propagated from cuttings.

    Occasionally we may offer a grafted version for newer varieties. They are specified in the product description.

    We don't accept returns for live plants.

    However, if your plant arrives severely damaged or in non-viable condition, we'll happily send a free replacement.

    Please reach out to us within 72 hours of delivery with photos of the damaged box and plant.

    Kindly note that we are unable to send replacements or issue refunds if your rose fails to grow due to extreme weather or improper planting techniques.

    Do you sell roses year round?

    All of our roses are grown outdoors in Portland, Oregon.

    We ship all 12 months of the year.

    Roses can be planted at any time except during extreme heat or cold. 

    You can order your rose anytime and choose to delay shipment for up to 6 months.

    Our roses are shipped semi-dormant in November, dormant from December to February, semi-dormant in early March, and non-dormant for the rest of the year.

    Do you offer in-person pickup?

    Unfortunately we do not offer in-person pickup at this time.

    Are you a licensed nursery?

    Yes we are a licensed nursery registered with the Oregon Department of Agriculture.

    Are you affiliated with rose breeders or third party growers?

    All roses on this website are grown by Highgarden Roses.

    The names of roses and breeders mentioned on our website are used solely for comparison purposes.
